3 Parenting Tips to Re-motivate Yourself When You’re Feeling Flat

Tip #1

Here's a tip. If you're feeling a little bit flat and you want to re-motivate yourself.

One of the best ways we can do that to release our feel-good hormones and get our energy back is to tell ourselves this one thing…

This one thing triggers our mind to release feel-good hormones, and that one thing is…

"I can do this." 💪

If we believe this and allow ourselves to feel what we're saying. That's when our mind suddenly releases those hormones into our body and we start to have a complete chemical shift.

It’s all very well if others tell us “You can do this!”, and you've got other people backing you…

But the key is that YOU believe it and that YOU tell yourself that "You can do this!", and when you tell yourself "You can do it" and when you really believe it and you imagine yourself being able to do it.

It allows your body to feel it. And once you can feel it your body will shoot those feel-good hormones into your bloodstream, and you can have a complete shift in how you're feeling. ✨

Give it a try today.

Tip #2

If you're feeling a flat or you're feeling unmotivated, maybe you're really tired, there's a way to reinvigorate yourself.

This is quite appropriate because I've just walked down some stairs and I'm walking along this track. I'll just show you the track that I'm walking along. It's beautiful. I'm in my local reserve which I love to walk through.

So here's the thing that I want you to tell yourself which is going to help you release feel-good hormones into your bloodstream and re-energize every cell in your body. Here's what I want you to say:

"I'm on the right path."

Or if the word suits you better, "I'm on the right track", or "I'm on the right road."

If you're on the right pathway and you believe it, it creates a huge chemical shift in your body and your body releases dopamine, serotonin and it gives you a rush of feel-good hormones.

So please say this to yourself-- "I'm on the right path."

You may remember me saying the tips the other day..

"I can do this, I'm on the right path!"

"I've got this, I'm on the right path!"

When you say these words to yourself, your mind gets the message that you are on the right path. It will then release feel-good hormones because it wants to motivate you to be on the right path. And the only way you're going to be able to do that is to tell your mind that you're on the right path.

So I'd love for you to say this to yourself today. "I'm on the right path, I'm on the right path." And keep saying that to yourself; keep reminding yourself that you are on the right track.

Say make sure to say it to yourself today, and say it many times over. :)

Tip #3

Here's tip number three to re-motivate yourself. If you're feeling flat now.

This is a really deep one and it's really super important to add to the other two that I've shared with you.

The first one was that “I can do this” and the second one is “I'm on the right path.”

Then this third one is critical to say as well and that is

“I am worthy of…”

Now the reason I'm sharing this with you is that so many people sabotage themselves because they don't believe they're worthy of success or worthy of experiencing things that they really do deserve to be enjoying.

The only reason you're thinking that you're not is that, in your unconscious mind, you've got programming that is telling you these stories that aren't even true.

We can start shaking up our unconscious mind and reprogramming it.

When we do we have a shift and start releasing feel-good hormones into our body and then we start to feel motivated again.

So let's stop buying into the old Stories the old programming that tells you that you're not worthy and let's start believing that you are worthy.

So I'll give you some examples.

“I'm worthy of success.”

“I'm worthy of being…”

I'll just use some examples for myself now.

“I'm worthy of making time to go outdoors and do what I love.”

“I'm worthy of being fit and healthy.”

“I'm worthy of giving myself the best opportunity to pass my math exam.”

“I'm worthy of…” whatever it is that you want to achieve in life.

It can be anything at all. It can be...

"I'm worthy of this cup of tea" and then say to that cup of tea

or

"I'm worthy of going out with my friends."

"I'm worthy of being able to sleep over at my friend's house."

"I'm worthy of going to school."

The only reason someone believes they're not worthy is that their unconscious mind has been feeding them some really big BS stories that are not true at all.

When we came into this world, we were born worthy.

We were born pure, innocent and worthy.

And the only reason we've started to believe other things is that we've put fear ideas into our minds and we started to tell ourselves a completely different story.

So I'd love for you to get back into believing in yourself and believing that you are the same worthy human being that you were when you came into this world.

Be sure to say to yourself today...

"I am worthy of..."

...and tell yourself what you're worthy of...

Let's release these feel-good hormones into your body chemistry and start creating some big shifts. Have a wonderful day.

A True Story of Connection in Chaos

Parenting isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s a kaleidoscope of emotions - love, frustration, pride, and sometimes, helplessness. We’ve been told to default to a “calm and collected” response when a child spirals into a meltdown, believing it’s the antidote to chaos, but here’s the uncomfortable truth: it often backfires. Why? Because in those moments of emotional turmoil, your child can’t hear reason. They’re not being "difficult" but in distress.

How to Resolve Your Child’s Defiance for Good

Sarah is the mother of 9-year-old Ethan, who was struggling with defiant behavior for months. Years? Forever? Sarah couldn’t even remember anymore. She lived in a fog. Every morning, Ethan began the day by refusing to get ready for school, throwing tantrums and hiding in his room.
